First Responders Photoshoot

Of all of my areas of photography, shooting first responders is without a doubt my favorite. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than giving first responders a piece of art to showcase their service and pride. I truly understand what you give of yourself to serve as I left law enforcement in 2009 after 20 years of service.

As a photographer, this type of photoshoot gives me the opportunity to really open up my bag of tricks to create amazing art.

First with departments and vehicles I utilize specialized lighting equipment and techniques to light the vehicles in a way not possible with any other type of photography. While this is true with any other vehicle, it is especially true when you introduce the emerency lights.

For personnel, I will bring my personal take to dramatic portraiture. I will put together a photoshoot plan with poses for you based around your profession and position to showcase your work. I will look to you to share what excites you the most about your job and I will come up with some exciting ways to showcase those aspects. We will set up your shots to simulate on the job scenarios.

Remember that when we shoot, we are shooting for ART. We are not shooting for quantity of pictures but we are shooting for THAT amazing shot. Of course you will walk away with plenty of pictures that you will want to share on social media. But my goal is for you to end up struggling to pick your favorite, the one that you want hanging on your wall.

After the photoshoot, I will pick my favorite portrait based on pose, scene, lighting etc. and I will put my magic to it and create what I call an Epic Artistic Portrait.

However, That is the minimum….. I take lots of pictures during a shoot and you will receive all photos that I process. There are no additional charges to the shoot unless you would like to have me print something for you. We have a great host of labs that specialize in Metal, Acrylic and Canvas large format prints.

I also shoot full department shoots with the same process. For a department shoot I would set up and shoot the department with the vehicles then we would work the personnel into the shot.

whether its your wife, boyfriend or kids.. this will bring a whole new depth and context to your portraits. Depending on who you bring, we will plan the storyline to set the scene for your artistic portrait.

Are you part of a special Unit -

If you are part of a special unit such as K-9, SRT, SWAT, Dive Team... Bring your gear, bring your SRV, bring your team members. I will set up a creative scene based around it.

Investiment

Daytime Shoot

$150

Simply put daytime is easier to schedule so it is less of an investment…. However, these shots will have their own unique feel to them and less ability to let the lights shine.

Night Shoot

$ 200

Darkness brings a whole new dramatic dynamic to your photoshoot. We will break out the lighting system and paint your ride!

These will be planned around city lights or special areas to bring cool mood and depth to the scene.

Darkness gives us the ability to really showcase emergency vehicles in all their glory!

Playing with Fire

$250

This shoot will include dramatic night shoot photography. But we will also bring the equipment to light your image on FIRE!

This is a bit more expensive to cover the fire supplies, planning and process. However, if you have multiple participant's I will only charge for the fire once per shoot.

These are images that my fellow photographers shot across the country. These will give you a visual of the concept that I am shooting for by adding personnel to our light painted department and vehicle prints.
